Finding Inner Peace Through Meditation

Finding Inner Peace Through Meditation is a free public lecture and guided meditation to be presented by a monastic disciple of Paramahansa Yogananda from 7 to 8 p.m., April 20, at Old South Church of Boston. The talk is part of a weekend-long event hosted by the Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF), founded in 1920 by Paramahansa Yogananda, author of Autobiography of a Yogi and subject of the documentary AWAKE: The Life of Yogananda.

Brother Satyananda, a long-time SRF monk who presently resides at the Self-Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine in Pacific Palisades, California, where he serves as minister in charge, will give the lecture. The event includes meditation technique classes for those that sign up for the SRF lessons.

Cost: Free. Location: 645 Boylston St., Boston. For more information, call 617-776-9664, email bmg.of.srf@gmail.com or visit BostonMeditationGroup.com.
