Introduction & Orientation to Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
Introduces participants to the full 8 week, evidence-based MBSR course.
Led by Brown University Certified MBSR teacher Nancy Bennett, this Free 1.5 workshop introduces participants to mindfulness and meditation and to the world-renown, 8-week, evidence-based course called Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the UMASS Medical Center for Mindfulness in the late '70s and taught all over the world, MBSR has helped hundreds of thousands of people learn to manage their stress and enhance their joy and well-being.
Attendance at one workshop is a prerequisite for admission to the full MBSR course.
