Legislating Wi-Fi Use in Schools

Senator Paul Mark has introduced S.316 “An Act relative to best management practices for wireless in schools and public institutions of higher education.” Massachusetts for Safe Technology invites people to teach the Joint Committee on Education why it is imperative to protect our collective students and faculty from toxic wireless radiation in schools. The bill is posted at https://malegislature.gov/Bills/193/S316.

The Committee will hear a number of bills on Monday, October 30, 2023, starting at 1 p.m. ET. Senator Jason Lewis' office has offered accommodations so this bill will be heard at 2 p.m. ET to minimize the time testifiers will be exposed to EMFs. Two-minute testimonies can be offered in person or on-line. Advocates can register to testify on S. 316 by 3 p.m. ET on Friday, October 27, 2023.

Written testimony can be directed to House Chair Denise Garlick and Senate Chair Jason Lewis, [email protected]; [email protected], and [email protected] so they can monitor submissions.

People should include their own legislators so they know you care about this bill.

The subject line should read “EDUCATION COMMITTEE TESTIMONY for S. 316," and it is important for the senders to provide their name,s credentials, organization if applicable, and phone number.
