Areas of specialty: The center offers a toxin removal education program, designed to inform patients about toxic dental materials, including bridges, crowns and silver fillings, which are comprised of 50 percent mercury—the most toxic substance known to mankind that is not radioactive. Mercury is a toxic material that can escape from fillings in vapor form and become absorbed directly into the brain, depleting and suppressing the immune system. The rate of vaporization increases when the fillings are stimulated by hot liquids, chewing and even brushing teeth.
