New Initiative Creates Foundation for Carbon Neutrality

All are invited to attend Let’s Talk Carbon Neutrality, an upcoming event to be held from 7 to 9 p.m., February 8, at Boston University, to learn about how Boston will continue on the path toward carbon neutrality.

Carbon Free Boston is Greenovate Boston’s new initiative to support the city’s commitment to be carbon neutral by 2050. It will review the costs and benefits of policies and technologies that will help Boston reach that goal. Greenovate is working with its partners at Boston University’s Institute of Sustainable Energy and the Green Ribbon Commission to lead this analysis, which will help inform the next update to Boston’s Climate Action Plan.
