Founded 1993

A truth about what is healing is captured in something the great master Yogi Bhajan once said which is that “All healing is based on relationship . . .” and that truism is born out in all of the various forms of relationship and encompassing inner and outer relationships. I consider the healing relationship a sacred contract where one may expect a safe space to discover which essential level(s) of being are most ready to release or assimilate. This healing relationship is often a catalyst for each individual to raise awareness, open body and heart, and allow the eternal soul - the source of our highest intelligence – to radiate, and to embrace all of life in its varied experiences.

Licensed and certified since 1993, my work is both structural and energetic - a synergy of technical and intuitive insight drawing from Ayurveda, and contemporary Western methods of healing. The combination of Massage Yoga and Ayurveda are reflected in the definition of the word SYNERGY: the interaction or cooperation of two or more organizations, substances, or other agents to produce a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate effects. The following specific modalities express this SYNERGY for a total Holistic approach: Ayurvedic Bodywork, and Ayurvedic Diet and Lifestyle Counseling, CranioSacral Therapy, Injury techniques such as Deep-Tissue, Trigger Point, and Myo-fascial, Swedish Massage, Reiki and Energy-Medicine, Sound-Healing, Hot-Stone Massage, Pregnancy and Post-Partum Massage, Abdominal Massage and Castor-oil Therapy Packs, Bones For Life and the technology of Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan. My bodywork has been described as a transformative “Energy Massage” that is much more and much deeper than simply addressing gnarly tissues.

With a foundation in body-oriented psychotherapy and deep-tissue bodywork, the session begins with listening compassionately as the client presents their current state of being while the ‘issues in the tissues’ are assessed. As my work has evolved over the years, I have gained expertise towards a practical understanding of the ‘physics of healing’, which when filtered through my own intuition, deepens my ability to tap into the body/mind connection to release deep holding patterns on all levels. Layering the Science of Life - Ayurveda and applying the technology of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation, provides a focused clarity, and purity of intention for a very individualized and comprehensive approach where the essential qualities in the bio-field or energy body, (the chakras and aura); qualities of the mind (gunas); and the 5-elements of body (tattvas) are assessed and daily practices guide the individual to take their life fully into their hands. Within the context of goal-setting, and creating momentum towards one’s stated goals, the Ayurvedic lifestyle practices that are suggested range from diet and nutrition, to specific daily exercises, as well as mantras and meditations one can do to establish a new relationship of regular attunement to that which is truly life-sustaining.

The ultimate objective in this safe therapeutic environment is to allow one to touch their infinite consciousness and open to the vast field of opportunity from where all healing and all potentials may arise and to recognize the creative potential within to design one's own life. A dynamic flow arises that guides when the work may be subtle, (energy field and chakras), and when deep tissue structures need to be released - effectively helping people with any variety of health concerns including; pain, stiffness, depression, anxiety, and general malaise. My experience has ranged across the lifespan working with parents and their newborns during the childbearing year, as well as supporting people as they age through the transitions of mind, body, and spirit towards the end-of-life. In almost all circumstances, my work may be an excellent adjunct to one’s self-care or healthcare protocol.
