Transformation Through Movement

An Introduction to the Feldenkrais Method

The Feldenkrais Method® is a somatic education process that aims to restore organic function to the human neuromuscular system. By increasing curiosity and reducing effort, we gain the ability to move with more grace, potency, and intention- resulting in less pain, better balance, and a new depth of autonomy in healing and self-regulation.

In this 90-minute workshop, I will present an introduction to the method and its philosophy, guide you through a restorative movement lesson, and make space for any questions that come up. If you have ever been curious about trying Feldenkrais, or would like a primer on the thinking behind the lessons you have done, I hope to see you there!

Workshop Schedule:

15 min - Introduction To The Method (slideshow)

50 min - Awareness Through Movement Lesson (guided movement meditation)

5 min - Break

15 min - Q & A/Reflection
