Kirby Fredendall will be showing her new paintings in an upcoming solo exhibition with Candita Clayton Gallery, opening May 29th through June 26th. The gallery is located in the picturesque town of New London, NH incorporated in 1779 and near beautiful Lake Sunnapee, unsurpassed for its proximity to charming New England towns, beautiful lake homes, and outdoor activities. Now in its tenth year of operation, the Candita Clayton Gallery has become an influential presence on the New Hampshire and Rhode Island art scene. Candita has an art history and contemporary art background. She loves working with artists, collectors and designers to place and install art, and help her clients choose what reflects their taste and values. Fredendall will be showing work from her Far Horizons series that explores the myriad conditions of light created by the time of day and the weather as they illuminate textures in the water, patterns in the clouds. Her work explores the richness of colors that vibrate with one another to form the visual experience of the landscape.
