BioBites Series: Histamine Intolerance
Marion Institute's monthly virtual series featuring Dr. Martin Hart
Featured Guest: Dr. Martin Hart, DC, Senior Doctor at the Biologix Center for Optimum Health Tuesday, July 6th, 12 noon EST
Histamine is a molecule that wears a lot of hats. It plays a vital role in the healthy functioning of many of the body's systems, producing varied effects wherever it's deployed. But just like too much of anything, too much histamine in the body is toxic.
Histamine Intolerance (HIT) is a toxic response to the overabundance of histamine in the body. Depending on the root cause of HIT and the systems affected, HIT can express itself in the form of any number of symptoms: gastrointestinal symptoms, headaches, disordered sleep patterns, low blood pressure, chronic infections, and hives among them.
Through testing and lifestyle changes, however, HIT can be properly diagnosed and treated. Dr. Martin Hart and his colleagues at the Biologix Center for Optimum Health have closely studied Histamine Intolerance and have a track record of success in helping patients overcome HIT by addressing root causes.
Join us for our July 6th BioBites session with Dr. Hart as we discuss:
- The nature of Histamine Intolerance
- Factors that contribute to HIT in the body
- How to effectively diagnose and treat Histamine Intolerance
