Reiki is an easy-to-learn, easy-to-use, self-empowering self-care, energy healing method that promotes health and wellness by supporting your body’s natural ability to heal itself from illness and injury, and also allows you to remain in a state of inner peace regardless of what’s happening in the world around you.

This one-day Reiki Shoden Level I Training, facilitated by Lou Orsan, Reiki Shihan (Master Teacher), is an introduction to the principles of traditional Usui Japanese Reiki healing. You learn that Reiki is a complete wellness system designed to promote natural health and healing for yourself and others on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. You will learn how Reiki heals, the history of Reiki, and receive the Level I attunements which clear blocked stagnant energy from your body and energy field. You also receive a fully-illustrated manual and your Reiki Level I Practitioner Certificate.

The experiential format of the class teaches you how to offer Reiki treatments to yourself, loved ones and friends, and pets. During the morning portion of the class, you will be guided to practice giving yourself a seated Reiki treatment. In the afternoon, time will be set aside for students to practice trading healing treatments for each other while the recipient lies on a Reiki table. Techniques taught help you (and your loved ones) revitalize your energy levels, release stress and anxiety, relieve pain, cleanse away unhealthy energy, thoughts, moods and emotions, heal from illness, injury and past trauma, increase mental clarity, and restore healthy immune system functioning. You also develop your intuitive abilities that allow your hands to find areas in the body needing Reiki. By the end of class, you will have confirmation that this loving, intelligent, healing Life Energy of the Universe is flowing from your hands.

Please note: Participants need to be vaccinated to attend. This training will be small group, held in a 900 sq. ft. meeting hall with a 20 ft. high ceiling and windows that open for fresh air. There is ample free parking on site.
