Wickford Art Association Presents the ‘Ocean State Small Works Exhibit’ Opening Friday, June 27

The Wickford Art Association is pleased to announce the opening of its highly anticipated Ocean State Small Works Exhibit, featuring a remarkable array of original, small-scale works by talented local artists. The exhibition will open to the public on Friday, June 27, 2025, and will run through Sunday, July 27, 2025 at the Wickford Art Association Gallery, located at 36 Beach Street, North Kingstown.

This annual summer tradition celebrates Rhode Island’s diverse and dynamic artistic community, challenging artists to create captivating pieces that measure no more than 14” in any direction. The result is an intimate showcase of highly collectible works across a range of media — from painting and photography to mixed media — providing a unique opportunity for collectors and patrons alike to discover and support local talent.

Opening Reception

A public opening reception will be held Friday, June 27, from 5–7 p.m. Visitors can meet the participating artists, enjoy light refreshments, and be among the first to experience this special showcase of Rhode Island’s creative spirit. Exhibit Details:
