Autumn's Embrace - Yin Yoga
Feeling an energy shift with the change in seasons? Join us for an evening of relaxation and renewal.

Sheila Hassan During the Autumn Equinox, we move from the outward energy of summer and the longer daylight, to the inward energy of fall and the lengthening nighttime. Join us to learn techniques from Traditional Chinese Medicine to help your body and mind adapt to the change in energy. This workshop will have a short presentation of the shifts toward autumn and how to help the body and mind accommodate. We will draw on components of ayurveda and acupressure, along with moderate movement practice, concluding with guided mediation for deep relaxation. You will leave feeling renewed and ready for the transitions in fall. Please bring a yoga mat. Blocks, yoga strap and yoga blanket are recommended, but optional.
