Get ready for an unforgettable experience at the 1st Annual LETR Wrentham Poultry Plunge! This exciting event is hosted by the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) for Special Olympics Massachusetts, in collaboration with the Wrentham Police Department and the Wrentham Fire Department. Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 22nd, 2025, at 10:30 AM, taking place at the Wrentham Public Safety Building, located at 89 South Street, Wrentham, MA. Join us as Bear Force One, the Massachusetts Special Olympics Mobile Plungster unit, arrives with invigorating cold, clean water, inviting you to plunge for charity! We encourage all teams to embrace their fundraising spirit; fabulous trophies will be awarded to the overall Top Fundraising Individual and the Top Fundraising Teams in the categories of Public Safety, Schools, Civic Organizations, and Open. The Top Fundraising Public Safety team will gain a year of bragging rights and have their name added to a traveling trophy. Additionally, a special Hummingbird Award will be presented to the most spirited Special Olympics Athlete. Don’t miss the chance to compete for the coveted title of Most Spirited Team—get creative with your plunge attire and showcase your team spirit! You can secure your spot by pre-registering online at https://fundraise.specialolympicsma.org/events/922 or registering on the day of the event. Plungers under the age of 18 will need a parent’s signature to participate. Those who pre-register by Monday, November 3rd, will receive a long-sleeve event t-shirt. A limited number of t-shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for those who register on the day of the event. Day-of registration will start at 9 AM in the main lobby of the Wrentham Public Safety Building. Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere complete with a dedicated Photo Area to capture memories and the entertaining sounds of DJ Buddah to keep you engaged before and during the plunge.
