Colon Hydrotherapy Practice Opens Within Roots Natural Medical Center

Elizabeth Regal

A new colon hydrotherapy practice is now open in eastern Connecticut, offering unique healing and detoxifying treatments. Located within Roots Natural Medical Center, in Columbia, Source Colon Hydrotherapy is owned by I-ACT Certified Colon Hydrotherapist Elizabeth Regal who points out, “There are very few colon hydrotherapy practices in the area. We are only 30 minutes from the Rhode Island and Massachusetts borders.”

Colon hydrotherapy (or a “colonic”) promotes hydration and softening of waste matter, assisting elimination by stimulating natural peristaltic contractions. Regal asserts that a series of three sessions is an ideal way to jump-start a cleansing process or relieve chronic constipation. “The removal of waste should encourage better colonic function and elimination,” she explains.

A hydrotherapy session is a comfortable experience; users may feel lighter and more comfortable than they have in a while. “Our facility is a center for different healing modalities with naturopaths and other practitioners that work to find and treat the root causes of dis-ease. Colon hydrotherapy is one of the modalities that will support a healing journey,” adds Regal.
