Perennials, Herbs and Community are in Bloom at Annual Plant Sale

The Quononoquott Garden Club will be holding their
annual plant sale fundraiser from 9 a.m. to noon on
May 10, 2025, at the Fort Getty Pavilion, in Jamestown, Rhode
Island. Expect a vast selection of plants including hardy perennials that are native to the area along with herbs. Sales support the organization’s mission of beautifying the island.
The club maintains gardens at the Welcome to Jamestown sign as well as at the pollinator gardens at the Four Corners, the Fire Museum’s garden, the gardens around the Town Hall and planters at the East Ferry Memorial Square. Residents of Jamestown and visitors can also enjoy the club’s extensive daffodil gardens along the 138 Connector. More daffodils were recently planted along the 900-foot section of the reservoir wall near the new bike path by the club. Monarch butterflies will find a proposed milkweed garden at Beavertail State Park a delectable surprise.
Location: 1050 Fort Getty Rd., Jamestown, RI. For more
information, call 401-423-0208 or follow the club on Facebook.
