Regal’s practice is located within Roots Natural Medical Center, in Columbia, Connecticut—just 30 minutes from the Rhode Island and Massachusetts border—where naturopathic physicians administer the ozone treatments.

Ozone therapy has been shown to stimulate immune function, improve tissue oxygenation, increase energy, reduce inflammation and kill pathogenic viruses and bacteria, among other health benefits. “The process takes approximately 15 minutes and makes a wonderful complementary therapy after a colon hydrotherapy session,” says Regal.

The process involves introducing medical-grade ozone gas (a form of oxygen) into a body cavity such as the rectum.
