The nonprofit Clothes to Kids RI will present Clothe a Child, Change a Life, a major fundraising luncheon event, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on April 17, 2026, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, in Warwick, Rhode Island. Attendees will learn how Clothes to Kids RI changes the lives of school-age children and meet key state, city and community leaders, as well as supporters and volunteers.

“Every school-age child should have quality clothing so that they may attend school with the confidence and self-esteem needed to achieve academic success,” says Peter Barton, board member of the organization.

Clothes to Kids RI provides new and quality used clothing to low-income or in-crisis children in Providence County, every six months, free of charge. After completing 10 years in operation, more than 17,000 wardrobes have been provided.
