Healing Waves Wellness Center: Creating Space for Holistic Healing and Connection

Jennifer Haggerty and Carleen Christophe

Carleen Christopher, founder of Carleen’s Body Healing Therapy, and Jennifer Haggerty, founder of Song of Your Soul, have joined together to create Healing Waves Wellness Center, located at 16 West Natick Road, in Warwick, Rhode Island. This collaborative healing space combines nervous system-focused bodywork, reiki and intuitive, holistic healing services that are designed to support physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.

After years of sharing space with other practitioners, Christopher fulfilled her lifelong dream by opening her own space for her practice, envisioning it not only as a healing center for her clients, but also as a collaborative environment with like-minded practitioners. Shortly afterward, she and Haggerty co-hosted a retreat. “It went really well, and Jen decided to rent space following that,” explains Christopher. Haggerty was on her own manifestation journey and, when an abrupt change in her full-time corporate job situation occurred, she decided to fully embrace her spiritual business dreams as well. “That’s when we started collaborating and discovered how naturally our offerings complemented one another,” adds Christopher. “By combining our services, we’re able to create even greater opportunities for transformative healing.”

Christopher specializes in Spinal Flow, Raindrop Technique as well as other therapies focused on nervous system regulation and spinal health. She became a certified Spinal Flow practitioner in 2025 after completing training in Mexico. Christopher’s sessions include posture assessments, light-touch spinal work, aromatherapy and relaxation techniques intended to help clients release physical tension and emotional stress stored within the body. “I was drawn to Spinal Flow by my calling to help people release stored emotions that contribute to physical spinal symptoms and conditions,” she shares.

Haggerty became a reiki master teacher in 2016 and launched her practice in 2017. Song of Your Soul combines intuitive reiki with spiritual guidance, sound healing, aromatherapy and other energy-based modalities. “Clients report feeling less pain in their body, a feeling of overall lightness, and a deep sense of calm and peace,” she explains. “Every session is a special journey for each person that I hold space for—they are unique, awe-inspiring and deeply humbling.”

Healing Waves Wellness Center offers group programs including healing circles, Wellness Wednesdays, FriYAY Energy Resets, Soul Sister Saturdays and themed retreats. Their offerings range from educational workshops to relaxation-focused wellness gatherings intended to encourage self-care and community connection. Group sessions are educational, can be a mini-version of full-modality experiences or themed and organized wellness events. Retreats are typically full days of self-care, nurturing and renewal activities relating to a specific theme.

Christopher and Haggerty have focused on creating a calming environment where clients can safely release stress and shift out of chronic fight-or-flight responses. “We want to create a sense of belonging, calm, peace and a safe place for people to release emotions and allow their bodies to feel lighter and less stressed,” they say. “Our vision is to bring people together in healing and community. It was clear from the moment we started collaborating that we’re creating something beautiful—something that the world really needs today.”
