Trust Fall Writing Pop-Up February 2026

Turn your hiding into healing. A gentle writing ritual for women to reclaim clarity after habitual hiding.

Turn your Hiding into Healing

A gentle writing ritual for women reclaiming self-compassion, security, and clarity after pain.

When you’re in pain, you find safety in hiding. But habitual hiding can manifest into shame, uncertainty, and a host of mental health issues including anxiety, and depression.

Fast writing for slow, steady healing

Why Trust Fall Writing Works:

·It’s a gentle way to show up for yourself without judgment.

·Your hand moves faster than your fear, letting you bypass your inner-critic.

·Fast movement, slow reflection, and language braid healing.

What the Trust Fall Writing session looks like:

Trust Fall Writing™ is a self-care writing practice that is based on Wild Writing, created by writer/artist Laurie Wagner. We listen to poetry, choose a jump-off line that we resonate with, and handwrite continuously for up to 15 minutes. We’ll visit poems and put pen to paper three times in the 90-minute class. As we write, we catch whatever details arise from our intuitive stories. We write continuously to bypass our inner-critic and get to our creative unconscious. If we get stuck or our hand gets tired, we come back to the jump-off line. You don’t need to be a writer (or be good at writing) to cultivate this self-care routine. In fact, this writing opens its arms to the rough draft, wrong words, imperfections, and unfiltered details of our narrative. This “trust fall” enables us to strengthen our intuition and listening skills.

From writing, we will ask a few non-judgmental questions about our writing, such as “Is there kindness?” This offers us the opportunity to objectively observe what our unconscious is telling us about where we are and how we are with ourselves in the moment. Once we finish reflecting, there will be an opportunity to share your writing and/or observations, but only if that feels right for you.

*Note: Everything is an invitation here: you can take breaks as needed; you don’t have to share your writing or even turn your camera on if that doesn’t feel right for you.
