The Empowerment Factory will host its 10th annual Healthy Living Community Event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., August 29, 2026, at Slater Park, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Presented as part of the Pawtucket Arts Festival, this free family event celebrates healthy living, creativity and community engagement through hands-on activities, wellness resources and local partnerships.

Children and families can enjoy arts and crafts, interactive games, mindfulness activities, raffles and educational exhibits while connecting with community organizations and local businesses. Healthy lifestyles, creative expression and civic involvement will be encouraged while access to valuable local resources will also be provided. Volunteer opportunities and sponsorships are also available for individuals and businesses wishing to support the event.

Founded in 2014, The Empowerment Factory is a Rhode Island nonprofit that blends social-emotional learning with art, literacy and environmental education to help children develop creativity, self-esteem and civic pride. Serving primarily elementary students and families in Pawtucket, Central Falls and Providence, the organization has positively impacted more than 10,000 youth through in-school, after-school and summer enrichment programs. Its mission is to ensure every child feels valued and empowered to make a positive difference in the world.
