Although this year’s Intention Fest, in Charlestown, Rhode Island, was canceled because of September’s nor’easter, the more than 50 healing artists, practitioners and peacemakers that had planned to participate remain available as resources for wellness and personal growth.

Founder Autumn Francesca encourages those that had planned to attend to instead explore the 2026 participant list and support the local practitioners and businesses that make up the Intention Fest community. The list comprises a wide range of services and products related to massage, reflexology, reiki, meditation, sound healing, yoga, energy work, intuitive practices, mental health, nature, movement and the creative arts.

The free festival, which was scheduled for September 27, 2026, at Ninigret Park, was canceled after forecasts called for heavy rain and strong winds that would have made the event unsafe and left the field unsuitable for vendors. “Please check out the list of 2026 healers and peacemakers,” Francesca wrote in her heartfelt announcement about the cancellation.

Despite her disappointment, Francesca emphasized that preparing for the festival was worth the immense time and effort because of the relaxation, healing, peace and joy it brought. She hopes the event’s promotional materials will continue to guide people looking for wellness resources to the 2026 Intention Fest Participant Directory and the local healing community.
